Acclaimed violinist Balabhaskar, 40, passed away on Tuesday early morning after he met with a road mishap a week back and was undergoing treatment here. The end came at 1’o clock in the night at the Ananthapuri hospital in Thiruvananthapuram.
He was undergoing treatment after he met with a car accident last week where he was critically injured.
Balabhaskar’s 2-year-old daughter Tejaswini died on the spot, his wife Lakshmi and driver are still undergoing treatment.
The musician had undergone surgeries to the spine and suffered damage to the brain. Infact his condition was improving and he was on ventilator. He suffered a cardiac arrest at 12.57 am which was the cause of death, informed hospital authorities.
